Corruption Allegation Rocks Dudhi Subdivision as Revenue Inspector Suspended After Bribery Video Goes Viral

A viral video from Dudhi Subdivision has triggered a major corruption controversy after Revenue Inspector Akhilesh Shukla was allegedly seen accepting and counting cash from a farmer. A major corruption controversy has emerged from Dudhi Subdivision after a viral video allegedly showed a Revenue Inspector accepting and counting cash from a farmer. The footage, which spread rapidly across social media, prompted immediate administrative action, resulting in the suspension of the accused official and the transfer of a local revenue officer connected to the case.

According to reports, the viral video shows Revenue Inspector Akhilesh Shukla seated inside a subdivision office room while receiving cash from an individual identified as a farmer. The official is seen counting the money in the footage. Allegations suggest that the payment was taken as a bribe in exchange for work related to land share determination and other revenue matters.

The farmer involved in the case is a resident of Majhauli village in the Dudhi Subdivision area. After the video came to the attention of authorities, administrative officials treated the matter with seriousness and initiated action against the accused officer. Revenue Inspector Akhilesh Shukla was suspended pending further inquiry.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nikhil Yadav stated that the administration is following a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. He said that the authenticity of the video and the entire sequence of events are being thoroughly investigated. Along with the suspension of the Revenue Inspector, the revenue officer responsible for Majhauli village has been transferred.

Officials have confirmed that a detailed investigation is underway. The administration has also indicated that if the inquiry reveals the involvement of any other employees, strict action will be taken against them as well.

The incident has intensified scrutiny over alleged corruption in revenue-related public services and highlights the administration’s commitment to taking action against officials accused of misconduct. The outcome of the ongoing investigation is expected to determine whether further disciplinary measures will follow.
