The farmer involved in the case is a resident of Majhauli village in the Dudhi Subdivision area. After the video came to the attention of authorities, administrative officials treated the matter with seriousness and initiated action against the accused officer. Revenue Inspector Akhilesh Shukla was suspended pending further inquiry.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nikhil Yadav stated that the administration is following a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. Along with the suspension of the Revenue Inspector, the revenue officer responsible for Majhauli village has been transferred.
