Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Assures Swift Resolution of Public Grievances, Orders Immediate Administrative Action
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held a public hearing to address grievances from residents across the capital and directed officials to take immediate action. A day earlier, she conducted surprise inspections of transport facilities in Burari, reviewed citizen services, assessed construction progress at the Automated Testing Station, and stressed transparency, accountability, and timely service delivery.
Emphasizing the importance of public trust, Gupta said that the confidence of citizens remains the government's greatest strength. She stated that this trust continuously inspires the administration to move forward on the path of service, sensitivity, and good governance.
The public outreach initiative came a day after the Chief Minister conducted a surprise inspection of the District Transport Office, Vehicle Inspection Unit, Vehicle Training Institute, and Automated Testing Station in Burari. In a post on social media, Gupta said she reviewed the condition of citizen services during the inspection and issued necessary instructions to improve facilities and service delivery.
She asserted that the government's objective is to ensure that every resident of Delhi feels supported by an administration that listens to their concerns, understands their problems, and works actively to resolve them.
During the inspection, Gupta also reviewed the progress of construction work at the Automated Testing Station and instructed officials to ensure that the project is completed within the prescribed timeline. She emphasized that residents visit government offices to receive efficient services and that the government's commitment is to make every service simple, transparent, and time-bound.
The Chief Minister warned that deficiencies would be corrected wherever identified and that accountability would be fixed in cases of negligence. Her remarks underscored the administration's focus on improving public service delivery, strengthening transparency, and ensuring greater responsiveness across government departments.
