Rajasthan Holds High-Level Review Meeting on Pending Recruitment Drives Across Multiple Departments

The agenda includes a comprehensive review of the recruitment process for 53,749 fourth-class employees, with special focus on delays in medical examinations and merit list finalisation. The administration has also sought a detailed report on these procedural delays.

Financial approval for the recruitment of 300 additional Sub-Inspectors and 9,000 Constables is also included in the agenda, marking a key decision point for strengthening the state police force.

The meeting will further review proposed rule amendments for the recruitment of 24,793 sanitation workers, alongside discussions on financial approval for 3,430 Gram Development Officer posts. Recruitment processes for 2,000 nursing and paramedical positions will also be assessed.

In addition, deliberations will be held on the recruitment action plan for 600 medical officers. The agenda also includes consideration of approval for 3,000 support engineer posts in the Public Health Engineering Department.

The recruitment case of 590 physical education teacher posts is also part of the review. All pending recruitment proposals within the finance department will be comprehensively examined during the meeting.

Senior administrative officials, including Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries of concerned departments, are expected to attend the meeting.

The review is seen as a significant administrative step aimed at accelerating stalled recruitment processes and ensuring timely manpower deployment across essential government services in Rajasthan.
