Syngenta Global Crop Protection R&D Head Camilla Corsi visited India to reaffirm the country’s strategic role in global agricultural innovation. During her visit to Hyderabad, she met women farmers, toured research facilities, and launched TEZ, Syngenta India’s first integrated voice-enabled artificial intelligence chatbot, strengthening the company’s digital and scientific commitment to sustainable agriculture.

 

Reinforcing India’s growing significance in the global agricultural innovation landscape, Camilla Corsi, Global Head of Crop Protection Research and Development at Syngenta, visited India to strengthen the company’s long-term commitment to science-led agricultural advancement, farmer-focused solutions, and sustainable growth. During the visit, she also launched Syngenta’s first integrated voice-enabled artificial intelligence chatbot, TEZ, marking a major step in the company’s digital transformation journey.

The visit underscored India’s strategic importance within Syngenta’s global research and development ecosystem. Camilla Corsi toured key agricultural regions, interacted directly with farmers, and assessed the practical impact of Syngenta’s technologies in Indian fields. She was accompanied by Leandro Martinho, Head of Crop Protection Development for Africa, Middle East and Asia, along with senior leaders from Syngenta India.

One of the most significant moments of the visit took place in Hyderabad, where Camilla Corsi met progressive women farmers and gained first-hand insight into their challenges, aspirations, and the transformative role of Syngenta’s agricultural solutions at the grassroots level. She also visited Valagro Biosciences, a Syngenta Group company specializing in biological solutions, highlighting the organization’s integrated approach to biologicals and sustainable farming.

At Syngenta India’s research and development center in Hyderabad, Camilla Corsi held extensive discussions with scientists and technical teams. Her visit included a comprehensive walkthrough of the Hyderabad facility, an overview of future site development plans, laboratory inspections, and field visits. She also participated in the company’s TechFest, an event dedicated to celebrating farmer-centric innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
