In a remarkable turn of fortune, a resident of Delhi struck a significant lottery win after purchasing a ticket worth ₹200 while passing through Ferozepur. The individual, identified as Mukesh Vashisht, secured a prize of ₹500,000 in a Punjab government-operated Dear Lottery, bringing unexpected joy to his family.

According to available details, Mukesh Vashisht had travelled to Ferozepur for personal work. During his visit, he purchased a ₹200 ticket for the Punjab government’s Dear Lottery while on his way through the city. After completing his work, he returned to Delhi the same night by train, unaware of the life-changing outcome that awaited him.

Three days later, Vashisht received a phone call informing him that his lottery ticket had won the prize. The unexpected announcement created a wave of happiness within his family. Speaking about the development, Mukesh Vashisht stated that he had visited Ferozepur for personal reasons, purchased the lottery ticket casually, and returned home the same night. He expressed immense खुशी and said that he plans to set aside the prize money for the benefit of his children.
