PM Modi’s Call for ‘Lower Costs, Higher Yields’ Becomes Guiding Strategy for Uttar Pradesh Farmers: CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath highlights Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s core agricultural vision of reducing farming costs and boosting production. He outlines state initiatives providing modern technology, quality seeds, and advanced equipment to enhance farmer income and strengthen long-term agricultural stability.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis on transforming Indian agriculture through reduced input costs and enhanced crop productivity is shaping the development agenda in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday. Speaking in Lucknow, he noted that the Prime Minister’s vision provides a clear route to improving farmer incomes and strengthening the rural economy.

According to the Chief Minister, minimizing financial burden on farmers while ensuring greater output has become a central principle in the state’s agricultural policy. He said the government is working to expand access to modern farming technologies, high-quality seeds, and advanced equipment—tools that are vital for increasing efficiency and supporting long-term stability in the sector.

Adityanath added that these initiatives are designed to help cultivators secure better returns from their land, reduce dependency on traditional methods, and make farming more sustainable in the face of rising challenges. By promoting innovation and improving resource availability, the state hopes to create an environment where agriculture can remain both profitable and resilient.

The Chief Minister underscored that aligning state efforts with the Prime Minister’s approach will not only elevate productivity but also bring lasting economic benefits to millions of farmers. As Uttar Pradesh scales up its support systems, officials believe the strategy could play a pivotal role in strengthening India’s broader agricultural ecosystem.
