BJP MLA’s Daughter Allegedly Slaps Police Officer at Karnataka Temple During Darshan
BJP MLA B Suresh Gowda’s daughter Aishwarya allegedly slapped a police officer at a Karnataka temple during special darshan. An FIR and counter-complaint followed, while the MLA apologized.
According to the available account, Aishwarya argued with the police officer while arrangements were being managed for devotees seeking special darshan. CCTV footage shows Aishwarya allegedly slapping the officer after she was asked to wait.
The PSI reportedly slapped Aishwarya back before others intervened and stopped the confrontation. The incident subsequently led to police complaints from both sides.

An FIR has been registered against Aishwarya for allegedly assaulting a public servant. A counter-complaint against Sub-Inspector Savitha B. Patil is under review. No arrest has occurred in connection with the incident so far.
BJP MLA B Suresh Gowda later apologized over the incident. He claimed that his daughter had faced verbal abuse first and urged that all devotees be treated equally at temples.
The incident has brought attention to the confrontation between the MLA’s daughter and the police officer during temple crowd-control arrangements, with the FIR and counter-complaint now forming part of the proceedings.
