UPITS-2025: Yogi govt's healthcare model draws attention from neighboring states
At Stall 9 in Hall 4, the State Agency for Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services (SACHIS) showcased UP's historic health reforms and robust infrastructure under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. So far, 53.8 million Ayushman cards have been issued to beneficiaries out of a target of 90 million, ensuring that 87% of eligible families have at least one member covered. The scheme provides free and accessible healthcare to poor and disadvantaged families, shielding them from financial hardship.
Chief Minister Yogi emphasized the expansion of healthcare infrastructure, awareness campaigns, and staff training to maximize the reach and impact of Ayushman Bharat. SACHIS CEO Archana Verma highlighted the scheme's transformative effect on beneficiaries' lives and invited investors from hospitals, medical equipment, and pharmaceuticals to invest in the state.
The exhibition underscored the dual impact of UP's healthcare initiatives: improving public health for the underprivileged while opening new opportunities for investment. Uttar Pradesh is now recognized as a major healthcare market, combining excellent services with a strong, investor-friendly ecosystem. Senior officials from SACHIS, including Dr. Sachin Vaish, Amarendra Singh, Dr. Ravikant Singh, and Dr. Nitin Gupta, attended the event, highlighting the state's achievements and future potential.
Under CM Yogi Adityanath's leadership, Uttar Pradesh is not only building a robust healthcare infrastructure but is also emerging as a model for healthcare delivery and investment in India.
