Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi Concert Draws 70,000 Fans, Karan Aujla Makes Surprise Entry

Diljit Dosanjh's Aura Tour opened in Delhi with over 70,000 fans at JLN Stadium. Karan Aujla made a surprise appearance, while Diljit addressed the Satluj film controversy and attempts to stop his shows.

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh made a powerful statement with the opening concert of his Aura Tour in Delhi on October 30. Organised at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium, the live show reportedly attracted a crowd of 70,000 people. The concert featured elaborate arrangements, including colourful lights, laser displays and drones, creating a spectacular experience for fans.

Videos and updates from Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi concert have started circulating on social media, with fans sharing their reactions to the performance and arrangements. Visuals from the stadium showed colourful lighting, laser beams and drone displays specially organised for the event. One of the highlights was Diljit's popular punchline, 'Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye', which was displayed through lights during the concert.

However, the concert also became a platform for Diljit to make a strong statement over the film 'Satluj', based on Jaswant Singh Khalra. Without naming anyone directly, the singer criticised the government and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), expressing his anger over the issues surrounding the film.

Addressing the audience, Diljit said, "Don't teach Punjabis how to fight battles. Jaswant Singh Khalra is being mocked, someone who fought so many battles. We fought for that film for a very long time. I remain silent, I love everyone. If someone hates us, that's fine; from our side, there is only love for everyone."

Another major highlight of the evening was the surprise entry of Karan Aujla. His appearance during Diljit's concert sent fans into a frenzy, adding to the excitement of the event.

The concert received an enthusiastic response from attendees, who praised both Diljit's performance and the event management. One fan described it as Diljit's best performance. Another praised the arrangements, saying, "The management was very good. Diljit is very down to earth. He was greeting people from the stage and even inviting them onto the stage. The concert was really good."

Several fans also shared how the singer made their day by bringing audience members onto the stage during the performance. They appeared visibly excited as they got the opportunity to interact with him. One fan celebrating a birthday said that Diljit had made the day special for them.

The scale of the event was also reflected in the crowd's response. Speaking to ANI, a fan who had travelled from Leh-Ladakh to attend the concert said he was volunteering at the event and was extremely excited to be part of it.

"I have come from Leh-Ladakh to volunteer, and I am very excited about this concert. More than 70,000 people attended it. The energy and the crowd, everything is magical," the fan said.

Diljit's musical performance was another major attraction of the evening. Videos circulating online showed him performing several songs that kept the audience entertained and energised. His setlist included 'Saanson Ki Mala' and songs from 'Khuda Gawah'. Fans joined him in singing and dancing, with the entire stadium appearing immersed in the live performance.

With a reported turnout of more than 70,000 people, a surprise appearance by Karan Aujla, elaborate visual arrangements and Diljit's remarks on the 'Satluj' film controversy, the Delhi concert became a significant opening event for his Aura Tour in India. His announcement that he would continue performing in the country until December 20 also drew attention amid the concerns he raised about attempts to stop the shows.
