The Prime Minister is accompanied by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population; Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade; Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities; Hassan Radad, Minister of Labor; Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry; Eng. Ibrahim Mekki, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh; his deputy, Dr. Amr El-Beshbeshy; several members of Parliament; and executive leaders from the governorate.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said Saturday's tour of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, which has numerous competitive advantages among Egyptian governorates, includes inspections of a large number of development and service projects for citizens.
The projects include those being implemented under the presidential "Decent Life" initiative for the development of rural Egyptian villages, particularly drinking water and sanitation projects, as well as projects in the health and housing sectors.
The Prime Minister said the tour would also include visits to several factories in the industrial zone.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly further stated that the visit includes an inspection of development work on Lake Burullus. The project is part of the state's strategy to develop lakes nationwide, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
He said the project aims to maximize the economic component of development projects by organizing marinas and boats for fishermen, increasing the utilization of fish resources and leveraging the projects to create job opportunities.
The surrounding areas will also be developed into urban centers and tourist hubs, contributing to raising living standards in these regions.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government's commitment to improving the quality of services provided to citizens, particularly in villages targeted by the "Decent Life" initiative.
He noted that field visits to work sites are continuing to assess and address challenges that could hinder project implementation.
These visits are accompanied by several ministers, reflecting a governmental approach aimed at allowing challenges to be discussed on the ground and facilitating faster delivery of various services to citizens, ultimately contributing to a better quality of life for Egyptians.
For his part, the Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh emphasized the governorate's diverse developmental and investment potential, including its agricultural, industrial, coastal and environmental resources, along with promising opportunities across several sectors.
He highlighted the continued monitoring of current investment plan projects across various developmental and service sectors, including the weekly preparation of technical reports and on-site monitoring to ensure timely implementation and completion.
The governor also emphasized the importance of completing road and paving projects to improve the quality of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate's main and secondary roads.
