Maharajganj District Hospital Sees Rise in Emergency Cases Amid Weather Change

Maharajganj District Hospital’s emergency ward is seeing a steady rise in patients with fever, cough, cold, vomiting and diarrhoea, while typhoid, dengue and snake-bite cases are also increasing.

Maharajganj District Hospital’s emergency ward is witnessing a continuous rise in the number of patients, with crowds reaching the emergency department since morning. Patients arriving at the hospital are increasingly reporting cold, cough and fever, along with cases of vomiting and diarrhoea.

Dr Rishi Chaudhary said that changes in the weather have led several patients suffering from different illnesses to seek treatment at the hospital. He added that the number of patients with typhoid and dengue has also increased. Cases of snake bites are also being reported at the emergency ward, where patients are arriving for treatment.

The doctor advised people to take extra precautions during the changing weather. He said that people should not ignore symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhoea or other signs of illness and should consult a doctor on time.

People have also been urged to maintain cleanliness, drink clean water and ensure that garbage and dirt do not accumulate in their surroundings. Doctors and healthcare workers at the hospital’s emergency department are providing necessary treatment to patients.
