OHE Insulator Damage Disrupts Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj Rail Operations for 90 Minutes

OHE insulator damage near Pipra railway station halted operations on the Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj section for 90 minutes, leaving Sapt Kranti and other trains stranded before power was restored.

Train operations on the Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj rail section came to a standstill on Saturday after an OHE insulator was damaged near Pipra railway station, disrupting power supply to the overhead wires.

The disruption began at 9:50 am, bringing train movement across the entire rail section to a halt. During the incident, the special train of Samastipur Division DRM Jyoti Prakash Mishra, who was conducting a window inspection from Muzaffarpur to Bapudham Motihari, also remained halted at Pipra station.

The power failure affected both up and down lines, leaving several trains stranded at different locations. Train number 12558 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Sapt Kranti Superfast Express was stuck at the outer signal between Chakia and Pipra.

Meanwhile, train number 63311 Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj MEMU passenger train remained halted on the main line at Mahwal station. The disruption caused inconvenience and confusion among passengers as trains remained stationary during the power outage.
