Six years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, fresh claims by Cooper Hospital post-mortem staffer Roopkumar Shah about alleged injuries and videography have brought the case back into focus.

 

Six years after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the case has once again come under discussion following alleged statements by Roopkumar Shah, who is said to have been associated with the post-mortem process at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. The latest claims reportedly surfaced during a recent Republic TV sting operation.

According to the Republic TV report, Roopkumar Shah, who claimed to have been involved in Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem at Cooper Hospital, made a fresh disclosure about injuries allegedly found on the actor’s body. His claims have brought renewed attention to questions surrounding the circumstances of Sushant’s death.

Shah claimed that there were injuries on Sushant’s body. According to his statement, there were two to three injuries on the left side of the body, each approximately 2 to 3 mm deep. He claimed that the injuries appeared similar to wounds caused by a stun gun.

Shah also raised questions about an injury near Sushant Singh Rajput’s eye. He further claimed that there were multiple marks on the actor’s neck that appeared to have been caused by pressure from a rope.

Roopkumar Shah also reportedly claimed that videography was not conducted during the post-mortem examinations of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian. The report further states that he alleged Sachin Waze did not allow videography during the process.

However, these are claims made by the concerned individual and cannot be treated as equivalent to findings established by official medical authorities or investigating agencies.

Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020, at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra. His death led to a wide-ranging investigation and generated nationwide discussion. The official post-mortem report that emerged in 2020 had stated suicide as the cause of death.

Despite that finding, various claims concerning the case continued to circulate on social media and in different sections of the media. Sushant’s death came as a major shock to his family members and fans. Even after several years, interest among his fans in the circumstances surrounding the case has remained.

The latest claims attributed to the post-mortem staff member have once again brought the circumstances surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death into focus, reopening public discussion over questions that have continued to surround the case.
