Shinde Must Become CM, Gulabrao Patil Revives Chief Minister Post Debate
Gulabrao Patil has revived the Chief Minister debate at a Shiv Sena gathering in Nandurbar, backing Eknath Shinde for the post, while Uday Samant set his sights on the Zilla Parishad presidency.
The issue has surfaced again at a Shiv Sena gathering in Nandurbar, where Maharashtra minister Gulabrao Patil made a strong pitch over the Chief Minister’s post. Patil delivered a forceful speech at the gathering and received an enthusiastic response from those present.
“Every worker feels that his leader should rise,” Patil said at the beginning of his remarks before turning to the main issue. His speech once again moved towards the Chief Minister’s post. Patil claimed that their leader Eknath Shinde should become the Chief Minister.
Patil further claimed that the real days of happiness would come once Eknath Shinde became Chief Minister. His remarks conveyed a broader message between the lines, with the intended reference reaching the Shiv Sena workers present at the gathering.
“From UBT onwards, everyone is taking a contract to target Eknath Shinde,” Gulabrao Patil said. He said he was referring to those who were allegedly defaming the party and those attempting to finish Eknath Shinde over the issue of freezing the party symbol or other matters.
Patil also said that they have complete faith in the judiciary and are confident that the appropriate decision will be delivered.
The Chief Minister’s post was not the only issue raised at the Nandurbar gathering. Minister Uday Samant expressed an expectation that, in the future, the president of the Nandurbar Zilla Parishad should be from Shiv Sena and should sit on the stage.
Samant’s remarks have sparked discussion that Shiv Sena will not hold back from taking on the BJP in Nandurbar. The gathering has also made it clear that Shiv Sena is preparing to move forward aggressively in the upcoming local self-government elections.
