Ramaiah Institute of Technology Showcases 446 Innovative Student Projects at Major Engineering Exhibition in Bengaluru
Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bengaluru organized a major Project Exhibition featuring 446 innovative projects selected from over 1,700 submissions. Students from 17 departments showcased solutions in hybrid mobility, rainwater conservation, smart grids, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and other emerging technologies.
A total of 446 projects from 17 departments were displayed across 150 stalls during the exhibition. Students from various engineering streams, including Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and several other departments, showcased solutions designed to tackle contemporary issues through technological intervention.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Suhas Gopinath, alumnus of RIT and Chief Executive Officer of Global Inc.; M.R. Janakiram, Vice Chairman of Gokula Education Foundation; and M.R. Kodandaram, Director of RIT. Senior academic leaders, faculty members, students, and industry representatives attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Suhas Gopinath highlighted the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in an evolving technological landscape. He noted that Artificial Intelligence has significantly influenced the information technology industry and emphasized that professionals who fail to upgrade their skills face increasing challenges. He stressed the need for continuous skill development among employees and greater exposure to practical learning opportunities for students.
Speaking at the event, M.R. Kodandaram, Director of Gokula Education Foundation, revealed that more than 1,700 projects had been submitted for consideration in the two-day exhibition. Following a rigorous selection process, 446 projects were chosen for display.
