The deceased, identified as Dimple from Patiala, was working at the company when the attack took place. According to reports, the accused, Harvinder Mann, who was also employed at the same office, had been attempting to reconcile with Dimple following the end of their relationship six months ago.
The situation turned violent when Mann allegedly attacked Dimple with a knife inside the workplace. Colleagues present at the office attempted to intervene and stop the assault, but were unable to prevent the fatal attack. Dimple sustained severe injuries and was rushed for medical treatment, where she was declared dead on arrival.

Following the attack, Mann allegedly slashed his own throat in an apparent suicide attempt. He was immediately taken to Fortis Hospital, where he remains in critical condition and is undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a murder case in connection with the incident. Investigators have recovered the knife believed to have been used in the attack and have seized CCTV footage from the office premises as part of the ongoing investigation.
