KHAN GLOBAL STUDIES GUARDS DETAINED AFTER ALLEGED FIRING VIDEO SURFACES FOLLOWING VANDALISM INCIDENT

According to officials, a group of 15 to 20 individuals allegedly vandalised the institute and hurled stones at the premises on Tuesday night. The coaching centre is operated by educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir.

A case has been registered at Kadamkuan Police Station, and an investigation into the incident is underway. In an official statement, the office of the City Superintendent of Police (Central) said investigators obtained a purported video showing two individuals carrying out aerial firing.

“During investigations, police obtained a purported video showing two individuals carrying out aerial firing. Following verification of the video, two guards linked to KGS have been taken into custody for questioning,” the statement said.

Police further stated that the weapons allegedly used in the firing have been seized and sent for forensic examination to determine their use and authenticity.

Immediately after the vandalism incident, Khan Sir alleged that individuals linked to a rival coaching institute were responsible for the firing. However, he later stated that only a police investigation could conclusively establish whether any firing had actually occurred.

Investigators have already arrested three people in connection with the incident, including the director of a rival coaching institute. The arrests form part of an ongoing inquiry into the violence and alleged criminal activities surrounding the attack on the educational institution.

Meanwhile, members of a rival coaching institute held a press conference on Thursday and levelled serious allegations against Khan Sir. During the briefing, they displayed the purported video allegedly showing KGS guards firing shots and claimed that the educator himself had orchestrated the incident.

A representative identified as Adarsh alleged that Khan Sir had fabricated the firing narrative. He claimed that police investigators had found no evidence supporting the allegation of firing, despite Khan Sir's earlier assertion that seven to eight rounds had been fired in front of him.

“Police investigation found no evidence of firing while he had claimed that seven to eight rounds of firing took place in front of him. You can clearly see who is trying to create a false hype around firing. And now a video has surfaced showing his guards firing shots,” Adarsh told reporters.

Adarsh further alleged that Khan Sir had staged the entire episode to generate publicity and revive what he described as a declining teaching career. However, he did not explain how such an incident would benefit the educator.

The controversy has intensified scrutiny of the events surrounding the vandalism at Khan Global Studies, with competing allegations emerging from both sides. As forensic examinations continue and police pursue their investigation, the case remains a significant development in Bihar’s educational sector, drawing widespread public attention and raising questions about the circumstances behind the alleged firing and subsequent accusations.
