The incident occurred during an outdoor wedding in Texas, where Drayton Williams, a 28-year-old businessman from Austin, was serving as the best man for a close friend. Williams later posted the footage on TikTok, where it quickly gained massive traction. He captioned the video with the remark, “Don’t lock your knees folks.”

The video shows Williams standing behind the groom during the ceremony, visibly swaying back and forth before abruptly falling forward with a loud thud. Guests can be seen reacting in shock as he hits the ground.

The groom and another groomsman quickly moved to assist Williams, helping him back onto his feet. He was then steadied by fellow groomsmen while the bride and bridesmaids appeared visibly concerned. The groom briefly attended to Williams before returning to his position beside the bride as the ceremony proceeded.

Speaking to US media outlet Newsflare, Williams explained that he had locked his knees during the ceremony. He added that a combination of heat and nervousness contributed to his dizziness, which ultimately led to his collapse.
