Deadly ICU Fire at Muzaffarpur Private Hospital Claims Five Lives, Raises Serious Safety Concerns

The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 AM when a fire reportedly broke out inside the Intensive Care Unit situated on the fifth floor of the hospital building. Preliminary assessments suggest that a suspected electrical short circuit may have ignited the blaze; however, authorities have initiated a detailed investigation to establish the exact cause.

Thick smoke rapidly spread through the Intensive Care Unit, creating panic among patients, attendants, and hospital staff. Firefighters arrived promptly at the scene and undertook a complex rescue operation that continued for more than an hour.
