Youth-Led Faith Art Competition Launched Ahead of Pentecost Celebrations
YU4C India announces a youth-focused art competition for participants aged 16–35, encouraging creative expression of Christian values ahead of Pentecost. The initiative invites painting, sketching, digital and mixed media artworks, with submissions due by June 6, 2026 via email or WhatsApp, promoting faith-based creativity and spiritual reflection nationwide.
Organisers stated that the competition has been designed to provide a meaningful platform for young people to combine creativity with spirituality. The objective is to deepen reflection on the message and significance of Pentecost while promoting faith-inspired artistic expression across communities.
Selected artworks from the competition will be showcased on the YU4C India Online Platform, offering participants an opportunity to share their personal faith journeys and inspire others through visual storytelling rooted in spirituality.
The competition welcomes multiple artistic formats, including painting, sketching, illustration, digital art, and mixed media. Participants are encouraged to create artworks prayerfully, ensuring that their submissions reflect devotion and aim to glorify God while capturing the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
As part of the submission process, entrants are required to send clear and high-quality images or scans of their artwork. Each submission must include essential details such as the participant’s name, parish or region, contact information, and the title of the artwork.
