Signify has expanded its Philips Smart Light Hub network across India to 345 stores amid rising demand for smart and connected home lighting solutions. The company is launching new experience stores in major cities including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai to strengthen its retail presence and offer immersive lighting experiences focused on design, technology and personalization

 

Global lighting leader Signify has announced a major expansion of its Philips Smart Light Hub network across India, taking the total number of stores to 345 as demand for smart and connected home solutions continues to rise among Indian consumers. The company said the expansion is aimed at strengthening its retail footprint across key markets while bringing advanced lighting solutions closer to customers through immersive experience-led stores.

The pan-India rollout will witness new Philips Smart Light Hub launches across several cities, including Noida, Delhi, Sonipat, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Raipur, Bareilly, Solan, Vijayawada and Madhyamgram throughout the month. According to the company, the expansion reflects its continued focus on meeting evolving consumer expectations for convenience, personalization and energy-efficient lighting solutions.

The Philips Smart Light Hub stores are designed to provide customers with an integrated and immersive retail experience, enabling them to explore a wide portfolio of lighting products across decorative, functional and smart lighting categories. The company stated that the hubs are intended to address changing lifestyle preferences as consumers increasingly view lighting as a central element of home design and connected living.

Commenting on the expansion, C Arun Kumar, Head of Consumer Business at Signify Greater India, said Indian consumers are increasingly considering lighting as an extension of their lifestyle and interior design choices. He stated that the growing adoption of connected homes and experience-driven living has accelerated demand for smart, aesthetic and technology-driven lighting solutions that improve ambience and everyday functionality.

He further said that the company is inaugurating a new Smart Light Hub nearly every two days during the month, highlighting both the rapid growth in demand for smarter home experiences and the company’s strategy to improve consumer access to innovative lighting products across the country. According to Kumar, the Smart Light Hubs will allow consumers to experience lighting solutions that combine technology, design and personalization while strengthening the company’s engagement with the next generation of homeowners seeking more intelligent and meaningful living environments.
