Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and retired Major General Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri passed away in Dehradun after prolonged illness. He served two terms as Chief Minister, known for anti-corruption reforms and transparent governance. General Khanduri, a former Indian Army officer, transitioned into politics and served two terms as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, first from 2007 to 2009 and again from 2011 to 2012.
