Textile Horizons 2026 Announced as Strategic Knowledge Platform Alongside India ITME Exhibition in Greater Noida
Textile Horizons 2026, announced by India ITME Society, will be held in Greater Noida alongside India ITME 2026, focusing on technology, sustainability, and the future of textile manufacturing amid major policy-driven industry transformation in India.
Positioned as a dedicated knowledge platform within the larger exhibition framework, Textile Horizons 2026 aims to convene key industry stakeholders to examine the future direction of textile manufacturing. While the exhibition floor will focus on machinery showcases and business transactions, the conference will address critical strategic, technological, and sustainability challenges shaping the sector.
The launch comes at a time when India’s textile industry is undergoing a significant structural transformation. Policy initiatives such as the ₹44,450 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel scheme and the Production Linked Incentive programme are accelerating investments in integrated manufacturing and man-made fibres. Simultaneously, sustainability mandates, including zero liquid discharge compliance and evolving global sourcing standards, are redefining operational benchmarks across the industry.
The conference will be structured around two central themes: Technology and Efficiency, and Sustainability and Circular Economy. Sessions will explore smart manufacturing, integration of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, robotics in textile production, energy optimisation, circular design, low-impact processing, and compliance frameworks. The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, technology showcases, and case study presentations.
Dr. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director of the India ITME Society, stated that the conference enhances the value proposition of India ITME by creating a structured forum for knowledge exchange alongside the exhibition. She added that the initiative aligns with the organisation’s objective of supporting industry modernisation and fostering meaningful engagement across the textile value chain.
The conference is expected to attract a wide spectrum of delegates, including textile and garment manufacturers, machinery and technology providers, fibre and yarn producers, brands and retailers, research institutions, policymakers, sustainability experts, and investors. It is specifically curated for decision-makers such as owners, managing directors, plant heads, and sourcing leaders.
The speaker line-up will include global industry leaders, technology innovators, sustainability specialists, brand sourcing heads, and senior policymakers. Textile Horizons 2026 will also be complemented by established India ITME programmes, including the CEO Conclave, India ITME Technical Awards, networking events, and business-to-business meetings conducted on the exhibition floor.
Entry to the conference will be free for participants who complete visitor registration for India ITME 2026. Sponsorship opportunities across multiple categories have been opened.
The launch of Textile Horizons 2026 underscores a strategic shift in India’s textile ecosystem, where knowledge exchange, technological advancement, and sustainability are emerging as central pillars alongside manufacturing growth and global competitiveness.
