Abhishek Bachchan Photo Leak Claims Denied as ‘King’ Set Controversy Intensifies
A photo allegedly showing Abhishek Bachchan from the set of King has gone viral, sparking leak rumours amid earlier SRK and Deepika Padukone set images. However, industry sources have denied the claim, stating Bachchan is in Ireland for ETPL. The clarification adds to ongoing concerns over repeated unauthorized leaks from the film’s production.
The speculation comes shortly after images featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone from the same film set surfaced online. Following the circulation of those visuals, the film’s makers had reportedly urged the public not to share any leaked content and to wait for the official theatrical release to witness the team’s work. Despite this request, a separate clip featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in a seaside song sequence from Jawan also appeared online, generating widespread attention.
In this context, an additional image claimed to be from the set of King, showing Abhishek Bachchan—reportedly cast as the antagonist—began circulating on social media, leading to further speculation about another set leak from the action drama.
However, an industry insider has categorically rejected these claims, stating that the circulating images are not authentic. The source clarified that Abhishek Bachchan is currently traveling for ETPL and has been in Ireland for the same purpose. According to the insider, the images linking him to the King set are completely fabricated.
King, directed by Sidharth Anand, features a prominent ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Oberoi, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, Rani Mukerji, and Jaideep Ahlawat, among others.
The film also marks Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut, following her earlier film debut in the 2024 Netflix release The Archies.
The latest clarification underscores the persistent issue of misinformation and unauthorized content circulation surrounding high-profile film productions, highlighting the challenges faced by filmmakers in maintaining secrecy during ongoing shoots.
