India-Africa Partnership Set for Major Expansion Through High-Value Trade and Integrated Supply Chains

Speaking at the event yesterday, Mr Goyal said India and Africa together have the potential to shape a more inclusive, resilient, and innovation-driven future for the Global South. He emphasized that stronger economic cooperation and deeper industrial partnerships between the two regions would create new opportunities for sustainable growth and long-term development.

The Minister also expressed confidence about the upcoming India-Africa Business Dialogue and Exhibition, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from May 29 to May 31. The event will take place alongside the 4th India-Africa Forum Summit and is expected to strengthen trade engagement, investment cooperation, and strategic partnerships between India and African nations.

Mr Goyal highlighted that collaboration in critical sectors such as clean energy, healthcare, digital infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing would play a decisive role in enhancing bilateral economic ties. He stated that the evolving partnership would move beyond traditional trade and focus on integrated supply chains and high-value industrial cooperation.

The upcoming India-Africa Business Dialogue and Exhibition is being viewed as a significant platform for expanding economic diplomacy and reinforcing India’s engagement with African countries. The event is expected to deepen cooperation between the two regions and contribute to a stronger and more innovation-focused Global South partnership.
