Circle Inspector Chinnamallaiah Booked for Alleged Rape of Woman Who Leased Farmland in Andhra Pradesh

A Circle Inspector in Andhra Pradesh, Chinnamallaiah, has been booked over allegations of rape made by a woman who had leased farmland from him. Police have initiated a formal investigation, conducted a medical examination, and placed the officer under Vacancy Reserve while evidence is being collected under senior supervision for a fair and impartial probe into the serious charges.

A police Circle Inspector in Andhra Pradesh, identified as Chinnamallaiah, has been booked following serious allegations of rape made by a woman who had previously taken agricultural land on lease from him.

According to the survivor, she was acquainted with the officer through the farmland lease arrangement. She alleged that the accused came to her residence, locked the door, and forcibly raped her. Following the incident, she approached the police and formally lodged a complaint seeking legal action and justice.

Based on her statement, police registered a case and initiated an immediate inquiry into the allegations. As part of the legal and procedural requirements, the woman was taken to a government hospital for medical examination.

Authorities have confirmed that the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness, given that the accused is a serving police officer. Senior officials are closely supervising the investigation and have assured that strict and impartial action will be taken if the allegations are substantiated.

In an administrative response aimed at ensuring an unbiased probe, the accused officer has been placed under Vacancy Reserve status and removed from active duty to prevent any possible influence on the investigation process.
