Circle Inspector Chinnamallaiah Booked for Alleged Rape of Woman Who Leased Farmland in Andhra Pradesh
A Circle Inspector in Andhra Pradesh, Chinnamallaiah, has been booked over allegations of rape made by a woman who had leased farmland from him. Police have initiated a formal investigation, conducted a medical examination, and placed the officer under Vacancy Reserve while evidence is being collected under senior supervision for a fair and impartial probe into the serious charges.
According to the survivor, she was acquainted with the officer through the farmland lease arrangement. She alleged that the accused came to her residence, locked the door, and forcibly raped her.
