Man Shot While Returning From Court in Khurja; Police Rush Victim to Hospital Amid Ambulance Breakdown

A man returning from a court hearing in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, was shot by an unidentified attacker, leaving him critically injured. With the ambulance out of service, police rushed the victim to the hospital in their own vehicle. Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the shooter and determine the motive.

A man was left critically injured on Sunday in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, after an unidentified assailant opened fire on him while he was returning from a court appearance. The victim, identified as Annu, had just finished attending a scheduled hearing when he was targeted, sending panic through the area and prompting an immediate police response.

According to officials, Annu collapsed at the scene after sustaining a gunshot wound. Emergency assistance was called, but the situation grew more tense when the ambulance meant to transport him reportedly malfunctioned. Acting swiftly, police officers transported the victim to the hospital in their own vehicle, ensuring he received urgent medical care without further delay. Doctors have described his condition as critical.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search for the shooter, who fled after the attack. Investigators are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident, including whether the shooting may be linked to Annu’s court case or any previous disputes. Authorities have stated that all possible angles are under examination as they work to identify the gunman.

The attack has raised fresh concerns over public safety in the region, particularly for those involved in ongoing legal proceedings. As Annu fights for his life, the incident underscores the urgency of strengthening security measures and ensuring reliable emergency services during critical moments.
