Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also called Sharad Pawar to enquire about his health following reports of his deteriorating condition. During the conversation, Modi reportedly told him, "Supriya and we will take care of the country. You should focus on your health."
In response, Sharad Pawar reportedly thanked the Prime Minister, saying, "When all of you are there, I have no worries about the country." This information was shared by Vitthal Maniyar, a close associate of Sharad Pawar.
According to information from sources, Sharad Pawar also enquired with Praful Patel during their hospital meeting about a meeting Patel had held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This has added another dimension to the political significance of their interaction.

What Did Praful Patel Say After Meeting Sharad Pawar?
Speaking after the meeting, Praful Patel said he had visited the hospital to enquire about Sharad Pawar's health. He clarified that Pawar's condition was very good and that he had gone to Ruby Hospital because of fatigue before coming to Breach Candy Hospital for a complete medical check-up.
Patel said Sharad Pawar was smiling during their interaction and was asking about ongoing political developments. He added that Pawar's health was currently very good.
Explaining his personal relationship with Sharad Pawar despite their differing political positions, Patel said, "Whatever our political positions may be, there is personal affection between us. Our political positions had created a distance, but I keep meeting Pawar Saheb. We have family relations."
Patel further said that discussing other matters at a hospital was not appropriate. According to him, Sharad Pawar had only made general enquiries about political developments and asked what was happening in the country and Maharashtra. He also said that Pawar had asked about developments in the United States.
