Hong Kong Gourmet Month Brings Exclusive Dining Deals to Over 400 Restaurants
Hong Kong Gourmet Month brings together more than 400 restaurants in November, offering exclusive dining deals, Michelin-starred menus, late-night food experiences and cocktail trails across the city.
Following the successful conclusion of the “Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival”, the campaign aims to extend the festival's benefits across the city. Its five themed dining experiences cover award-winning restaurants, neighbourhood delicacies, distinctive beverages and authentic local late-night food available after 9pm, highlighting the range of culinary experiences found “Only in Hong Kong”.
Participants attending the “Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival” can also access more than 250 additional exclusive privileges across the city through the “Gourmet Month Privilege Card” distributed at the festival venue.
Dr Peter Lam, Chairman of HKTB, said the Wine & Dine Festival had successfully attracted visitors from around the world as well as local residents, showcasing Hong Kong's position as an international culinary capital. He said Hong Kong Gourmet Month would extend the festival's benefits across different parts of the city through five themes featuring star-rated restaurants, established neighbourhood eateries and late-night dining destinations.
He added that the campaign would encourage residents and visitors to explore local neighbourhoods and spend at participating businesses, creating additional opportunities for the F&B and tourism-related sectors while supporting the wider mega-event economy.
Visitors holding the “Gourmet Month Privilege Card” distributed at the “Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival” can access more than 250 exclusive privileges at designated restaurants and participating F&B merchants across the city. These include offers on selected menus, dining discounts, complimentary welcome beverages, buy-one-get-one-free deals and event redemptions.
Hong Kong Gourmet Month features five themed dining experiences designed to take visitors through the city's food and beverage scene, from lunch to late-night dining.
The first theme, “Hong Kong Wine-Pairing Award-Winning Restaurants Gala: When Top Sommeliers Meet Legendary Chefs”, brings together around 15 leading restaurants, including Michelin three-star Tang Court, Michelin two-star Arbor, and Michelin one-star Tosca di Angelo and Ando.
Renowned chefs and beverage experts have collaborated to create 15 exclusive pairing menus available only during Hong Kong Gourmet Month. The menus have been developed by considering the ingredients, cooking techniques and flavours of individual dishes alongside the characteristics of selected beverages.
At Tosca di Angelo, for instance, dishes featuring Mediterranean tuna, Hokkaido scallops, Mediterranean sea bream and Cherry Valley duck are paired with selected beverages from Abruzzo, Marche and Sicily. The combinations allow diners to experience the distinct regional flavours and terroirs of different parts of Italy in a single meal.
The second theme, “Taste More Hong Kong”, offers discounted dining experiences at more than 200 restaurants, with selected lunch and dinner menus available at discounts of up to 30%.
The participating establishments include Michelin three-star Forum Restaurant, Michelin two-star Ying Jee Club and Bo Innovation, and Michelin one-star Hansik Goo, Man Wah, Shang Palace, Epure and Racines.
The dining selection covers traditional Cantonese cuisine, innovative Chinese dishes, international flavours, local neighbourhood specialities and restaurants offering harbour-view dining experiences.
The third theme, “Hong Kong Late-Night Dining Guide”, focuses on the city's food culture after 9pm, bringing together nearly 80 F&B brands and more than 100 outlets across several districts.
Participating locations include Central and Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok, Sham Shui Po and Kowloon City. The establishments will offer exclusive late-night deals, with dining choices ranging from dai pai dong (open-air food stalls), hotpot restaurants, izakayas, burger joints and dessert shops to hotel restaurants, harbour-view venues and fine-dining establishments.
Some participating restaurants in popular tourist areas will remain open until midnight or into the early hours of the morning, giving visitors opportunities to explore Hong Kong's late-night dining culture.
The fourth theme, “Cocktail Fest Month”, features 30 selected venues across the city and six themed routes covering hidden speakeasies, local Hong Kong flavours, established Central venues, emerging destinations, luxury hotels and food-and-beverage pairings.
Visitors can select one of the themed routes and three participating venues for HK$399. They can then redeem one signature drink at each selected location as part of the themed bar-hopping experience.
Among the featured venues is Tell Camellia in Central, known for its tea-infused beverages. Its signature drink, “Iron Tea”, draws inspiration from Hong Kong's long-standing tea culture and incorporates local flavours into its beverage offering.
Bar Mind, co-founded by award-winning local 3 mixologists, features the “Sweet Potatoni”, a drink inspired by charcoal-roasted chestnuts and roasted sweet potatoes traditionally sold on Hong Kong's streets. Combining smoky tea notes with caramel sweetness, the beverage reflects local flavours through a distinctive cocktail creation.
The fifth theme, “Sip and Savour in LKF”, brings together more than 20 restaurants and bars in Lan Kwai Fong for a limited-edition nighttime experience.
Alongside special food and beverage offers for Gourmet Month, participating venues will organise workshops, retro-themed nights and DJ performances. The programme aims to provide additional options for after-dinner gatherings and nightlife while highlighting the variety of entertainment and dining experiences available in Lan Kwai Fong.
Through its five themes, Hong Kong Gourmet Month brings together more than 400 restaurants and F&B outlets, over 250 exclusive privilege offers and a range of dining experiences spanning award-winning restaurants, neighbourhood establishments, late-night eateries and cocktail venues. The campaign extends the reach of the Wine & Dine Festival across the city throughout November, encouraging visitors and residents to discover Hong Kong's culinary offerings across different districts.
