The Rohini-based company decorated its office for Diwali and arranged colourful iPhone 16s on employees' desks as festive gifts. A video capturing the moment showed employees unboxing their new smartphones, with several staff members visibly excited and smiling as they received the gifts.
Sharing the video, the company used the caption, "When it’s about Diwali gift, Financersaab is OG." The post highlighted the company's approach to employee gifting, which stood out from the traditional festive gifts often distributed by companies.
The gesture also drew comparisons with Diwali gifts offered by larger corporate organisations, including Reliance, which are associated with more conventional presents such as sweets and nuts.
Social media users responded with a mix of appreciation, humour and curiosity. While several praised the company for its generosity towards employees, others joked about searching for job opportunities at Financersaab. Some users also brought a traditional festive reference into the discussion, sharing memes and jokes about the absence of soan papdi, a familiar Diwali gift.
