Neuraluna Expands India Presence as Enterprise AI Platform Targets Global Growth

Seattle-based Neuraluna is expanding its enterprise AI presence in India, bringing human expertise and specialist AI agents together. Its platform aims to transform how consulting, legal and knowledge-driven businesses deliver services.

Seattle-based human-first enterprise AI company Neuraluna has announced an expanded presence in India, strengthening the country's role in its global enterprise AI strategy. The move comes as organisations increasingly explore ways to use artificial intelligence to expand specialist capabilities while keeping human expertise at the centre of business operations.

Founded in December 2024 and headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Neuraluna helps organisations bring together human expertise and specialist AI agents through a single platform. The company already serves enterprise customers across the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

At a time when much of the artificial intelligence industry is focused on reducing the need for human workers, Neuraluna is positioning its platform around a different approach. The company believes that people closest to complex problems should have greater capacity, wider reach and more opportunities to create value. Its objective is to strengthen the role of human expertise rather than make it less important.

Through its platform, experts can build AI teams using their own knowledge and working methods. Organisations can use these teams to deliver complex projects, convert specialist expertise into digital services and provide continued support to clients between engagements. The entire process can be managed through one platform without requiring users to write code.

Explaining the company's India expansion, Dinesh Chahlia, Co-founder and CEO of Neuraluna, said the company had taken a different approach to the conventional use of artificial intelligence.

"The default use of AI is to need fewer people. We took the opposite bet: that AI gives capable people more reach and helps them do the most important work. India has some of the deepest pools of expertise in the world, so expanding here is a natural step for us, and the place where this bet can matter most. We are not coming to India to automate its experts. We are coming to give them more reach," Chahlia said.

Neuraluna's platform is built around three key design principles covering client data isolation, access to multiple AI models and organisational control. Each client engagement operates through a separate, isolated workspace, ensuring that one organisation's data, AI agents and generated work do not cross into another client's environment. This arrangement is particularly relevant for consultants, lawyers and advisers who handle multiple client engagements simultaneously.

The platform also integrates models from multiple AI providers, allowing customers to adopt new capabilities without becoming dependent on a single vendor. At the same time, organisations retain control over their information, permissions and the manner in which artificial intelligence is used.

Commenting on the expansion, Phani Solomou, Co-founder of Neuraluna, said artificial intelligence is changing the services clients can manage independently and the expertise for which they are willing to pay professionals.

"AI is changing what clients can do themselves and what they will pay experts for. Neuraluna helps firms apply their expertise at a scale and cost that makes new services and markets commercially viable. Specialist firms can reach clients previously priced out, turn one-off projects into ongoing services and build revenue beyond billable hours. For India's knowledge businesses, this opens new routes to global growth," Solomou said.

The company said its platform is already being used by customers across several industries. A world-leading business school uses Neuraluna to power its entrepreneurship platform, extending expert guidance beyond the classroom and helping founders access support while making decisions as they build their businesses.

An international consulting and IT services firm is using the platform to transform project delivery and introduce new services, including a testing factory for work it previously passed on to larger competitors.

A specialist medical technology consultancy has brought together clinical and financial expertise through Neuraluna. This approach is making assignments that were previously uneconomical commercially viable and creating opportunities for larger engagements.

An independent executive adviser is also using the platform to deliver work that previously required an entire consulting team. Clients receive AI agents, dashboards and other capabilities that remain available for continued use after the engagement ends.

In the legal sector, a law firm is using Neuraluna to make its best precedents and working approaches accessible to every lawyer, with the aim of strengthening consistency across client assignments.

Alongside its enterprise services, Neuraluna operates an Access Program that provides free and discounted access to nonprofits, researchers, educators and civic teams working on complex problems.

With its expanded presence in India, Neuraluna is looking to extend the reach of specialist expertise through AI-powered teams while maintaining organisational control over client information and engagement-specific workspaces. The expansion also reflects the company's focus on creating new opportunities for knowledge-driven businesses to develop services and reach global markets.
