Pawan Singh Apologises to Akshara Singh on Stage, Hints at Reunion
Pawan Singh publicly apologised to Akshara Singh during a Durga Puja event in Munger, spoke about her parents and asked fans about their reunion, while a Ballia court imposed a Rs 3,000 fine in a separate case.
During the event, Pawan Singh not only apologised to Akshara Singh but also made a heartfelt statement about her parents. He subsequently asked the audience whether they wanted to see the two stars reunite as a pair, receiving an enthusiastic response from the crowd.
The incident took place during a Durga Puja programme in Munger district, Bihar, where Pawan Singh had arrived to perform. The Durga Mahotsav was organised at the historic Siddhpeeth Shri Shri 109 Badi Durga Maharani temple in Kalyanpur. The Bhojpuri actor and singer entertained the audience with his songs and also performed some of Akshara Singh's hit tracks in his own voice.
During the programme, noise and commotion broke out among some members of the audience. Pawan Singh paused his performance for a few minutes and addressed the issue by apologising to Akshara Singh in front of the gathering.
"Akshara Singh is my babu, my son... Her father is my elder brother, and her mother is my sister-in-law. I said sorry, didn't I? Now, clap from all sides," Pawan Singh said from the stage.
His announcement and conduct prompted people present at the venue to respond enthusiastically.
After the brief interruption, Pawan Singh resumed his performance. He then asked the audience how many people wanted to see him and Akshara Singh together as a pair again. Those who supported the idea raised their hands, signalling their approval of a possible reunion between the two Bhojpuri stars.
The public apology and Pawan Singh's remarks about Akshara Singh's parents have once again drawn attention to the relationship between the former on-screen partners. His question to the audience also brought their possible reunion into focus, although no formal announcement about working together again was made during the event.
Meanwhile, Pawan Singh has also been involved in a separate legal development concerning a case filed by his wife, Jyoti Singh. A court in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh recently imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on the Bhojpuri actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bihar Legislative Council member for failing to appear during the hearing of the case.
Pawan Singh's advocate, Harivansh Singh, provided the information. Speaking to PTI-Bhasha on Saturday, he said that a hearing had been scheduled for that day before Kamala Pati Prajapati, Additional Principal Judge of the Family Court, in a case filed by Pawan Singh's wife, Jyoti Singh, seeking interim maintenance.
According to the advocate, Pawan Singh could not attend the scheduled hearing on Saturday because his mother, Pratima Devi, was unwell. He added that the court imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on the actor and scheduled the next hearing for November 12.
While the court proceedings concerning his wife's interim maintenance case continue separately, Pawan Singh's public apology to Akshara Singh at the Durga Mahotsav in Munger has renewed public interest in their relationship and the possibility of their pairing up again.
