Professor Tim Jones, Vice Chancellor of the University of Liverpool, expressed pride in opening the institution’s first international campus in over 20 years. He reiterated the university’s commitment to working with universities, industry and non-profit organisations to generate a positive impact locally and globally.

The opening of the Bengaluru campus brings together international higher education, research collaboration and industry engagement under one institutional presence. With its inaugural cohort of nearly 300 students, academic programmes spanning several disciplines, and partnerships with Indian research institutions and businesses, the campus marks a new phase in the University of Liverpool’s engagement with India.
