Railway Traffic Halted for an Hour After Cement-Laden Tractor-Trolley Gets Stuck

Rail traffic in Lucknow was disrupted for nearly an hour after a cement-laden tractor-trolley got stuck at Bharwara railway crossing. A JCB removed the vehicle before the track was inspected and operations resumed.

Lucknow. Rail traffic was disrupted for nearly an hour after a cement-laden tractor-trolley became stuck at a railway crossing in the Bharwara area of the capital, triggering a rush among railway officials and staff.

The tractor-trolley getting stuck at the crossing forced railway authorities to stop train movement. As soon as information about the heavy vehicle obstructing the railway track was received, railway officials and employees began immediate action as a safety measure.

A team reached the spot and used a JCB to remove the tractor-trolley from the railway track. Once the vehicle was cleared, the railway track was inspected. After the track was found safe, rail traffic, which had remained disrupted for around an hour, was resumed.

During the disruption, trains had to be stopped and their speeds controlled, causing inconvenience to passengers. Road traffic around Bharwara railway crossing was also affected by the incident, with commuters facing difficulties for a considerable period.
