Truecaller Launches Post-Call Actions to Help Users Complete Tasks Instantly
Truecaller has launched Post-Call Actions, enabling users to reschedule deliveries, pay dues, complete KYC and perform other tasks instantly after verified business calls.
The functionality is initially rolling out for last-mile delivery companies, a high-intent category, and will soon be followed by use cases and customisable options for the banking, financial services, and insurance industry. Post-Call Actions are designed to ensure that a business call no longer ends with “we’ll send you a link,” but with the task being completed.
Post-Call Actions appear immediately after a verified business call ends, when consumers are already paying attention. A branded action card automatically appears in Truecaller, allowing users to complete the next step with a single tap without downloading an app, searching for a link or waiting in a queue.
For deliveries, the feature addresses common difficulties faced by customers. A call may arrive while a customer is at work or commuting, making it impossible to answer, and by the time the call is returned, the delivery slot may no longer be available. In other cases, customers who answer may have to repeat the same directions to another agent. With Post-Call Actions, customers can instantly reschedule a delivery, confirm their availability, share their precise location or authorise a safe drop directly through Truecaller.
For banking, financial services and insurance customers, the need for trusted interactions is greater. A call from a bank can be genuine or part of a sophisticated impersonation scam. Since Post-Call Actions appear only after Verified Business calls, customers can take action from a trusted screen. They can pay dues, request a callback, complete a pending KYC step or confirm a transaction without searching for a link that may or may not be genuine, at a time when impersonation fraud is at an all-time high.
For businesses, Post-Call Actions redefine what a completed call means. Call performance has traditionally been measured through pick-up rates. The new capability allows businesses to measure whether a customer interaction was resolved, with follow-through taking place in the same trusted moment and on the same screen instead of being lost across SMS links, app downloads and abandoned IVR queues.
“A phone call has been the most human way for a business to communicate with customers. But it usually ends with homework for them,” said Priyam Bose, Global Head, GTM, Truecaller for Business. “Post-Call Actions resolve this. The delivery gets rescheduled, the bill gets paid, the KYC gets done, all in the same trusted moment, on the same screen, irrespective of the calls getting picked up or unanswered.”
Truecaller is an essential part of everyday communication for over 500 million active users worldwide, with more than one billion downloads since launch and 68 billion spam and fraud calls identified in 2025 alone. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and has been publicly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since October 2021.
Post-Call Actions mark a shift in how verified business calls can connect directly to customer actions, allowing consumers and businesses to close the loop within the same trusted communication experience.
