Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, the film has recorded strong advance bookings across India, with the Hindi version accounting for the largest share of sales.

According to reports, Ramayana has earned Rs 9.91 crore through advance ticket sales. While the Hindi version is leading bookings, interest in the Kannada and Telugu versions is also growing.

The early booking figures come as ticket sales have yet to open across several non-national cinema chains and single-screen theatres. The expansion of advance bookings to more screens could contribute to a further increase in ticket sales ahead of the film's release.

Based on the Valmiki Ramayana, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Anupam Kher, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh and Vivek Oberoi.

With advance collections approaching Rs 10 crore and bookings still unavailable across several cinema chains and single-screen theatres, Ramayana is building its advance ticket sales ahead of its scheduled release on November 5.
