Indian Family Accused of Creating Chaos at Vietnam Restaurant After Children Allegedly Made a Mess

An Indian family allegedly created chaos at Bombay Bites HCM in Vietnam after staff requested they control children who were throwing tissues and plates. The confrontation reportedly escalated into verbal abuse, threats, property damage, and assault before the family fled. Police were informed, while the incident sparked widespread online backlash.

An Indian family allegedly created a major disturbance at Bombay Bites HCM in Vietnam on June 30 after restaurant staff politely requested that they control their children, who were reportedly throwing tissues and plates inside the establishment. The incident, which was captured on video, has triggered widespread criticism on social media over public conduct, parenting, and the responsibilities of tourists while traveling abroad.

According to the restaurant's owners, employees approached the family with a polite request to prevent the children from continuing to throw tissues and plates around the restaurant. Instead of cooperating, the adults, who were described by the owners as being under the influence of alcohol, allegedly responded with verbal abuse, issued threats, damaged property, and shoved staff members before fleeing the premises.

Co-owner Aishwarya Khanna Singh later shared a video of the incident and stated that a restaurant is not a playground. She emphasized the importance of maintaining basic manners and respecting public spaces, particularly while visiting another country. Her statement drew significant public attention as the footage circulated widely online.
