Krishnan to discuss strengthening technology cooperation between the two countries. Engineering and information technology remain among the most sought-after professions in India and continue to provide a pathway for skilled professionals seeking employment abroad, particularly in the United States. More than 70 percent of approved H-1B visa applications in recent years have been granted to Indian professionals, while Chinese workers constitute the second-largest group of foreign recipients of these visas.
