Goa College Student Dies by Suicide After Viral Littering Video Sparks Police Action and Online Backlash

The deceased, identified as Samuel de Braganca, lived with his mother and two sisters and had recently completed his second year of graduation. According to reports, a video allegedly showing him throwing garbage on a roadside in North Goa circulated widely on social media and attracted significant public attention.

As the footage spread across various platforms, several social media users demanded action against the student. Subsequently, the police registered a case against him and issued a notice requiring his appearance before the authorities.
