Elderly Woman Dies After Jumping from 14th Floor Apartment in Jaipur’s Harmada Area; Police Launch Investigation
An 82-year-old woman, identified as Lakshmi Jain, died after allegedly jumping from the 14th floor of an apartment in Jaipur’s Harmada area. The incident occurred while her daughter and son-in-law were away in Ajmer. Police have launched an investigation, and the body has been sent to Kanwatia Hospital mortuary for post-mortem procedures and legal formalities.
The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi Jain. According to available information, she was residing in a flat with her daughter and son-in-law. At the time of the incident, both the daughter and son-in-law had travelled to Ajmer for work-related reasons.
Following the incident, the body was shifted to the mortuary of Kanwatia Hospital for post-mortem examination and further formal procedures.
Police from the Harmada Police Station have initiated a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are examining all possible angles to determine the factors that may have led to the tragic event.
