Trump Condemns Violence Against Hindus in Bangladesh, Vows Stronger India Ties and Support for Hindu Americans

Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate and former US President, condemns violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and promises stronger ties with India and PM Narendra Modi if re-elected. In his Diwali message, he criticizes Biden and Kamala Harris, vows protection for Hindu Americans, and highlights religious freedom concerns in global politics and US domestic discourse.

Former United States President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has strongly condemned recent violence against Hindus and other minority communities in Bangladesh. He stated that if elected President of the United States again, he would strengthen his ties with India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a Diwali message, Trump extended greetings on the occasion and accused his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, and President Joe Biden of ignoring Hindus in the United States and across the world. He asserted that he would protect Hindu Americans from what he described as an anti-religious agenda associated with the radical left and work to defend their religious freedom.

Trump also referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his “friend” and described him as the “nicest human being,” recalling earlier remarks made last month in which he praised the Indian leader.

The statement comes amid heightened political messaging on international religious issues and diaspora concerns, with Trump linking foreign developments in Bangladesh to his broader foreign policy stance and outreach to Hindu American voters.
