M3M Foundation Hosts Grand Convocation Celebrating Rural Youth Empowerment at iMpower Academy, Panipat
M3M Foundation hosted a grand convocation under the Kaushal Sambal Programme at iMpower Academy, Panipat, celebrating rural youth empowerment through skill development and entrepreneurship. The event saw 1,000+ participants, 30+ enterprise stalls, 20+ employers, and highlighted large-scale impact across multiple states and villages.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Mahipal Dhandha, Minister of Education, Haryana; Pawan Jindal, Chief RSS Functionary for the Northern Region; Vijay, RSS Field Worker; and Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson and Trustee of M3M Foundation, alongside Members of the Legislative Assembly, village heads, government officials, employers, industry representatives, community leaders, alumni, trainees, and members of local panchayats.
The event brought together more than 1,000 participants, including youth beneficiaries, employers, community institutions, and representatives of local governance, creating a unified platform to celebrate the expanding impact of skill-based empowerment and livelihood generation across rural Haryana. Representatives from 36 village panchayats of Samalkha actively participated, reflecting strong community ownership and engagement in youth development initiatives.
A central highlight of the convocation was the recognition of inspiring journeys of trainees and alumni who have successfully transformed their lives through vocational training, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurial ventures under the Kaushal Sambal Programme. The ceremony included cultural performances, alumni success narratives, employer interaction sessions, certificate distribution, and the launch of the “Vyapower Song,” symbolizing the entrepreneurial spirit of rural youth.
A major attraction of the event was the exhibition of more than 30 enterprise stalls established by trained alumni of the iMpower Academy for Skills under the Vyapower Programme, an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance. These stalls showcased diverse business ventures including handicrafts, beauty services, mehndi artistry, jute-based products, and food enterprises, reflecting the growing confidence and economic independence of trained youth.
The event also facilitated engagement between more than 20 employers and industry representatives with trainees and alumni, resulting in active recruitment discussions and placement opportunities aimed at strengthening rural employment pathways.
The convocation further highlighted the wider impact of the Kaushal Sambal Programme, which is currently operational across seven states, more than 12 districts, and 353 villages through 19 iMpower Academies and nine implementing partners. The initiative has trained and empowered over 12,000 young individuals across 18 vocational trades, achieving a 76 percent placement rate while simultaneously advancing entrepreneurship through 14 dedicated enterprise development programmes.
Addressing the gathering, Mahipal Dhandha, Minister of Education, Haryana, commended M3M Foundation for its impactful role in empowering unemployed and underprivileged youth through skill-based education and livelihood creation. He emphasized that such initiatives are driving meaningful social transformation by connecting young individuals to sustainable employment and economic opportunity.
Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson and Trustee of M3M Foundation, stated that skill development extends beyond employment generation, encompassing confidence building, dignity, and the capacity to shape a better future. She noted that empowered youth become catalysts of transformation for their families and communities.
The convocation concluded with a strong message of empowerment, entrepreneurship, and collective progress, reinforcing M3M Foundation’s commitment to building a skilled, confident, and self-reliant nation through community-driven development initiatives.
