Meerut Zone emerged as the most active operational region, recording 4,813 encounter operations. Within these actions, 8,921 accused were arrested, 3,513 were injured, and 97 criminals were killed, the highest death toll among all zones. The zone also reported 477 injured police personnel and the death of two officers in the line of duty.
Varanasi Zone ranked second with 1,292 encounter operations, during which 2,426 accused were arrested, 29 criminals were killed, and 907 accused individuals along with 104 police personnel were injured.
Agra Zone followed with 2,494 encounter operations. Authorities arrested 5,845 accused, injured 968 individuals, and killed 24 criminals. In this zone, 62 police personnel sustained injuries during enforcement actions.
In Bareilly Zone, 2,222 encounter operations resulted in 21 criminal deaths, while Lucknow Zone recorded 971 operations with 20 criminals killed during encounters.
Among commissionerates, Ghaziabad recorded the highest number of criminal deaths, with 18 individuals killed in 789 operations. Kanpur Zone reported 12 deaths in 791 operations, while Kanpur Commissionerate recorded 4 deaths in 253 operations.
