24-Hour Control Room to Be Activated in Hamirpur Ahead of Urban Local Body Elections
A 24-hour district-level control room will be operational in Hamirpur from May 13 for urban local body elections, as directed by the State Election Commission. The facility will function until vote counting concludes, ensuring smooth election management and coordination.
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (Urban Local Bodies) Gandharva Rathore has issued formal orders to set up the control room in the courtroom of the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Hamirpur. According to the directive, the facility will become operational from May 13 and will function кругл the clock until the completion of the vote counting process for the urban local bodies.
The administration has appointed Accounts Officer Naresh Kumar from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office as the in-charge of the control room. Officials stated that the control room will operate 24 hours a day, serving as a central hub for coordination, monitoring, and addressing election-related matters during the entire electoral period.
