The helicopter service for the Badrinath-Kedarnath Dham is set to commence from April 26, with operations scheduled to begin from the Jolly Grant helipad. The development marks a significant logistical step ahead of the Char Dham Yatra 2026, as authorities finalize all necessary flight-related formalities.

The kapat of Yamunotri and Gangotri will open on April 19, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, marking the formal beginning of this year’s pilgrimage. Kedarnath Dham will open its doors on April 22, followed by Badrinath Dham on April 23, 2026.
