The individual responsible for Kharat’s arrest has been identified as his own assistant, Neeraj Jadhav. Acting on suspicion, Jadhav began secretly monitoring Kharat’s activities. During this surveillance, he uncovered critical evidence that ultimately exposed Kharat. According to reports, Jadhav had installed a hidden camera in Kharat’s cabin years ago with the help of a friend. Before revealing the truth, he had also blackmailed Kharat. Notably, Jadhav earns only Rs 10,000, a detail that underscores the unexpected nature of the exposé, as Kharat reportedly never anticipated being exposed by an ordinary assistant.
Following the exposure, Kharat’s wife fled and remains untraceable, prompting police to initiate a search operation. Amid the developments, Mamta Kulkarni also issued a statement regarding Kharat.
The situation has further intensified with reports concerning Kharat’s family. His son, described as being in a difficult situation, was arrested by police some time ago. It is being suggested that he will face harsh conditions in jail.
Investigations have revealed that Kharat holds approximately 57 bank accounts, which are believed to contain his black money. Authorities have now turned their attention to these accounts as part of the ongoing probe.
Earlier claims indicated that Kharat had trapped 58 women; however, this number has now reportedly risen to 150. He is alleged to have been deceiving people since 1990. Reports also suggest that Kharat had several VIP followers, whom he would meet at his farmhouse. These individuals were allegedly supplied with intoxicating substances by him.
The case continues to unfold as law enforcement agencies intensify their investigation into financial irregularities, exploitation allegations, and the broader network linked to Ashok Kharat.
