The High Commission of Malaysia in India hosted the spectacular Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026 in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Featuring cultural performances, authentic cuisine, and major industry partners like Gentari and PETRA Group, the event showcased Malaysia’s tourism and economic depth, inviting Indian travellers to explore Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and strengthening bilateral ties.

The High Commission of Malaysia in India successfully hosted the vibrant Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026 on April 4, 2026, at its premises in Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, marking a monumental milestone in the diplomatic and cultural relationship between the two nations. The carnival welcomed a large and diverse gathering of families, students, travel enthusiasts, and prominent members of the diplomatic and Indian community, creating an electric atmosphere filled with culture, flavours, business engagement, and festivities. Organised in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, this grand event served as an engaging platform not only to promote Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and tourism offerings but also to reflect the growing depth of Malaysia–India economic and industry collaboration.

The event featured a series of high-profile moments, including Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia in India, and Ahmad Johanif Mohd Ali, Director of Tourism Malaysia – New Delhi, giving away prizes to winners. Addressing the assembly, Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa stated that the Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026 is a reflection of the strong people-to-people connection between Malaysia and India, noting that through culture, cuisine, and shared experiences, the mission aims to bring Malaysia closer to friends in India and invite them to explore the many wonders the country offers during Visit Malaysia Year 2026. Complementing this vision, Ahmad Johanif Mohd Ali added that the carnival is not just a cultural showcase but an invitation to Indian travellers to discover Malaysia as a preferred holiday destination, emphasizing that with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, they look forward to welcoming more Indian tourists to experience Malaysia’s nature, islands, shopping, cuisine, and unique multicultural harmony.

The festivities were further elevated by the Perwakilan Ladies Association of Malaysia in India celebrating at the carnival, which featured captivating cultural performances, live cooking demonstrations of authentic Malaysian dishes, and specialized education, tourism, and business booths. Guests participated in interactive fun and games and an exciting raffles draw for visitors of all ages, while tasting an assortment of Malaysian cuisine and tropical fruits that offered a true flavour of Malaysia in the heart of New Delhi.
