Indian Women’s Hockey Team Announces 24-Member Squad for Argentina Tour in Buenos Aires

Hockey India names a 24-member Indian Women’s Hockey Team squad for the Argentina tour in Buenos Aires from April 13–17. Led by Salima Tete, the team will play four matches as part of preparations for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 and Asian Games.

 

Hockey India has announced a 24-member squad for the Indian Women’s Hockey Team’s upcoming tour of Argentina, marking a crucial phase in the team’s international preparations.

The tour will take place in Buenos Aires from April 13 to 17, where the Indian team, led by captain Salima Tete, will compete against a strong Argentine side. The series comprises four matches scheduled on April 13, 14, 16 and 17, with all fixtures set to begin at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time.

The tour serves as a key preparatory assignment for the Indian Women’s Hockey Team ahead of major upcoming tournaments, including the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 and the Asian Games.
