Modi Leads 19th Rozgar Mela, Distributes Over 51,000 Government Appointment Letters to Youth Across India

The newly appointed candidates represent diverse regions of the country and are set to join key ministries including Railways, Home Affairs, and Health. They will also serve in major organisations such as the Defence sector and the Central Armed Police Forces, marking a wide administrative induction across critical government institutions.

Since its launch in 2022, the Rozgar Mela series has become a recurring employment platform for the central government. According to official details shared during the event, approximately 1.2 million appointment letters have been issued so far under the programme. The recruitment process has been highlighted as transparent and merit-based, aimed at reinforcing institutional trust and expanding youth participation in governance structures.

The initiative has been positioned by the administration as part of a broader vision of youth empowerment and national development, aligned with the long-term goal of building a developed nation by 2047. Authorities emphasized that the distributed appointments are intended to strengthen administrative capacity while providing stable career opportunities to young citizens across the country.
