HCBS Developments Partners with Jindal Stainless for Advanced Structural Steel Use in Gurugram’s Twin Horizon Project
HCBS Developments has partnered with Jindal Stainless for Twin Horizon in Sector 102, Gurugram, integrating Jindal Infinity Stainless Steel Rebars in critical structural applications including diaphragm walls and raft foundations. The project spans 5.2902 acres with 268 residences and reflects a focus on durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance in high-rise construction.
As part of the development process, HCBS Developments conducted a detailed evaluation of reinforcement rebars made from different raw materials for use in critical diaphragm wall applications. Following this assessment, the developer has selected Jindal Infinity Stainless Steel Rebars for implementation. These rebars are manufactured through a stringent process that enhances their suitability for high groundwater conditions, offering superior corrosion resistance and extended lifecycle performance.
The company has also extended the use of Jindal Infinity Stainless Steel Rebars to the raft foundation, marking one of the early implementations of this application in high-rise residential construction. The decision reflects a shift toward integrating advanced material science into foundational construction practices to improve long-term structural integrity.
Twin Horizon spans 5.2902 acres and will comprise two high-rise towers featuring 268 residences along with seven commercial spaces. The project has been designed by Morphogenesis, an architectural firm known for its contemporary and context-driven design philosophy, blending modern aesthetics with functional spatial planning. Construction is being executed by Krishna Buildestates Private Limited, which is responsible for on-ground delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Commenting on the development, Saurab Saharan, Group Managing Director of HCBS Developments Limited, stated that the quality and reliability of core materials are critical at this stage of construction. He emphasized that steel plays a defining role in long-term structural performance and described the inclusion of Jindal Stainless as a deliberate decision focused on consistency and foundational strength, while ensuring uninterrupted progress on site.
Tarun Khulbe, Chief Executive Officer of Jindal Stainless, noted that the increasing adoption of stainless steel rebars in critical structural applications reflects a broader industry shift toward materials offering enhanced durability, reduced maintenance requirements, and improved lifecycle value. He added that such projects demonstrate the integration of long-term structural performance into foundational design decisions and expressed commitment to supporting HCBS Developments with material strength and technical expertise.
On the construction front, the project is witnessing steady progress. Excavation and diaphragm wall work for Tower West have been completed, while similar work for Tower East is currently underway. This reflects a calibrated execution strategy as the development advances into subsequent phases.
The collaboration underscores a growing focus within the real estate sector on advanced construction materials, positioning Twin Horizon as a development aligned with evolving standards of structural resilience and long-term performance expectations.
